Fitday convert

Hiya peeps!
My name's Jose. Recently found MFP after having used Fitday for 4 years or so. Finally converted after being frustrated with fitday's website, which kept breaking.
I'm 36yrs old and have struggled with my weight all my life. Being a short guy (5'4" tall), there isn't much room on my frame to hide the lbs, so a few lbs tends to look like much more =( .I'm looking for avenues that will help me maintain my motivation to get back in shape and I'm hoping that participating in these forums will be a helpful tool to realizing that goal. Just lurking these forums over the last week or so has shown me that this community is extremely supportive!
My goal for now is to get back to 170lbs, at which time I'll re-evaluate and adjust as necessary. My current plan is for 1lb loss per week, 1hr of strength training 3x/week (M-W-Fri), and cardio at least 2 days a week on non-lifting days. Cardio typically consisting of 30min on my Bowflex Treadclimber, or bicylce riding with the Mrs. if I happen to be off on the weekend (I work rotating 12hr shifts, 4 days on 4 days off, so I dont' always have the weekends free).

Welcome to MFP!! Yeah I had been a member of fitday since like...2006? It just was user friendly enough for me to actually see any success. When I discovered MFP it was like this light bulb went off.
