I am on day 18 of the 30 DS (yay!) and am planning on moving on to Ripped in 30 when I am done. I've read through tons of posts about each one but I was curious to ask those who have done both if the type of results are the same with Ripped as they are with the Shred?

I did the 30DS and am just beginning week 3 of Ripped in 30. I am seeing results. However, I have to say that I've done some things differently with RI30 than I did with 30DS. I am trying to keep my carb intake around 90 grams a day (mostly through fruits and veggies) to help flatten my tummy. I also started cycling (zig-zagging) my calories last week. I have definitely noticed that my tummy isn't as "poofy" and seems to be more flat. After 2 weeks of Ripped in 30 and one week of watching my carbs and zig-zagging I have lost about 3 pounds, about 1.5 inches around my waist, 0.5 an inch off each thigh, and an inch on my hips. Ripped in 30 is definitely tougher than 30 Day Shred but it's a nice step up.

I didnt experience the same but then again i did one month of shred followed by one month of ripped so maybe due to the training in Shred is why I got the results from Ripped ??? I lost inches doing Shred and lost 2-3lbs doing Ripped and prefer Ripped workouts. Mostly due to there are 4 workouts to alternate I got bored with Shred quickly and Shred had a lot of jumping which killed my legs, im out of shape :) cause I never heard anyone else complain of that problem.
Sorry forgot to add in I was eating more when doing these workouts about 1500-1600 cal a day and now that I joined this site(just this week) it says I should only eat 1400 so if I had dieted better I could of had better results.

there are a wide variety of exercises in Ripped and not one is repeated......I read that, don't have it yet, but read that...I plan to get Ripped very soon. I am now doing the "Biggest Loser Last Chance Workouts" and love them...they are a challenge though...

I've been doing the first week off and on of RI30 for about a month now (virtually zero motivation some days). I don't know if it was overall exercise or a new scale but I lost 2 lbs since I last weighed myself (granted that was a few months ago). I had to modify the running man because it winded me like nothing else; I replaced it with high knees and I can finish the workout without stopping now.

Hmm...I think I may try the carb thing. I don't think I eat too much more than 90 grams/day as is.

I did the 30 day shred in April. I lost 10 lbs and 7 1/4 inches. I did not miss any days, did it for 30 straight. I started doing Ripped on May 2nd. I wont know my total inches until next week, because I am not taking them until I'm through. So far I have lost about 5 lbs in 3 weeks with Ripped. The first week of Ripped was so easy I was afraid it wasn't going to be a challenge. But week 2 came and man has it been tough. I will check back next week when I am finished with Ripped and let you know my total outcome.

Although both videos give great results I felt that the ripped in 30 was a much more intense workout than 30 day shred

I love ripped so much more then 30ds and I got better results. I'm not done yet , I have four more days of week four, then i'll be finished. But since starting I have to wear belts with my jeans. This one is much more interesting and challenging. I plan on starting again next month but this time with heavier weights and not so many modifications.

I have 5 more days of 30 DS left. I like level one and level 3 the best. Level 2 annoyed me- LOL! I just got RI30 today to try when I am done with the shred. I LIKE the Shred because its only 20 minutes long (plus 5 mins for WU & CD) Not sure I will like adding 10 more minutes of Jillian to my day but we'll see.......LOL
