Weighing Meat

This may seem like a silly question but....when calculating your meat intake is the weight pre or post cooking? Because obviously it will weigh different if it is frozen or fresh pre-cooked. Just wondering...

I was told by a weight loss clinic nurse to weigh it pre-cooked.0

yeah I try to weigh mine thawed (if frozen) or fresh right before cooking.
But, there are listings in this database as well as other sites that will list a meat cooked.

I always try to weigh precooked. However, just make sure you select the correct option: some meats will list "raw" and then also have an option to select "cooked" or "baked", etc.0
