"The current media debate about the benefits (or lack of harm) of high fructose corn syrup (HFCS) in our diet misses the obvious. The average American increased their consumption of HFCS (mostly from sugar sweetened drinks and processed food) from zero to over 60 pounds per person per year. During that time period, obesity rates have more than tripled and diabetes incidence has increased more than seven fold. Not perhaps the only cause, but a fact that cannot be ignored."

And please, decide for yourself. I'm not here to force you to stop eating foods or drinks processed with HFCS. Just putting this information out here for those who might be interested, to make their own educated decisions. No need to get nasty. Thank you!

I'm an advocate of moderation. If you look at the article or any other study about HFCS/Aspartame/sodium it says that too much is bad for you... JUST LIKE ANYTHING.

I don't have a problem with people preferring not to have it in their diets - that's fine. But I love food all I want is to have a healthier relationship with it. That means not depriving myself of things that I want and simply limiting how much of something I eat.

I'm drinking a diet pepsi right now and I'm pretty pleased with it :3
