It kinda seems like you worked this one out all on your own! You're exactly right, the only thing to do is push yourself to get back on the wagon.

Point 1: you had to do it, right? You've been missing it, right? Well, you've just had it, enjoyed it, so it won't be happening soon, right? Just cos of how you feel right now. And this is the only point where you may allow yourself to be mad. Just mad enough not to do it next weekend again.

Point 2: it must be watter weight. You probably had some crackers to go with it. Beer usually stimulates kidneys, but you didn't have just beer  The bad news is that it probably will take a while to melt away the naughty fat that's being stored just about now (hope banks is not reading this, I'm more like brainstorming, but I know that when I eat bad it's not showing up next day, but then it takes me some good few days to lose that weight).

Point 3: cheer up! Yesterday don't matter, today is yours and today only. So be good, okay? :flowerforyou:

First, can I just say "HOLY ICONS, Batman!" LOL!

Second, for you to actually gain 3.5 lbs you would have to have eaten somewhere in the neighborhood of 9000 to 9500 EXTRA calories this weekend, and not burn any off. I seriously doubt you did that, I mean were talking a total intake probably somewhere around 11K to 13K calories over the weekend, do you have any Idea how much food that is in 3 days? So don't worry, it's not all Fat, I'm sure a couple o pounds are from you eating different foods probably with lots of salts in them, which was helping you retain some extra water. I mean, you probably did gain SOME, but maybe an lb or so. And that's no disaster!

Don't feel bad lady, I did the same thing as you. Well, maybe not EXACTLY the same, but I ate too much, drank too much, and exercised to little. Heck, it was LABOR day weekend, you're not suppose to do any work!

LOL....Ummmmmm no I don't think I ate that much or drank that much. But I'm sure that Mexican food on Friday, Jak in the Box on Saturday, and the Cookout on Sunday were packed full of sodium...Whewww I'm glad some of it is water weight  Yeah I drank a lot but well ummmmm....I'll get back to it and give it a few days. Hopefully the real gain or loss will show through. How long does it take for retained water to disappear on the scale? Or does that just depend on what I eat now?:indifferent:

Thanks Banks I needed that At least I'm not the only one
