Muscle opinions please?

Look i may have posted this on the wrong board but i still need help!

Im looking into starting a workout like insanity or turbofire etc - I was wondering how important is it to have recovery shakes? Is it worth me buying some? (if so i how do i know what to get) or is it possible to do these workouts with the shakes, do you still do it the 2nd day if your aching from day one?

    Bump.. But I've read that a lot of people opt for something like chocolate milk rather than the shakes.

    Chocolate milk is not ok in my opinion because it has a lot of sugar and not as much protein. I suggest getting Optimum Nutrition and go with cookies and cream or milk chocolate. Depending on what flavor you like. Protein helps a lot with recovery and helps build muscle better than not taking anything.
