Newbie and needs support

So I am a younger person but I realize I need to start now in order to develop better habits as I age. I'm trying to lost 60 lbs but didn't get serious until a couple days ago and I've been going to the gym for 1.5-2 hrs everyday and eating better. I just wanna know how you guys lose the weight how ever much it may be and kept it off.
