ok so the last week has been a bad one well a not so good week anyways i weighed in to today and found i have put on 500g -i expected ewight gain- however the part i dont understand is i lost 3cm off my waist and 2cm off my hips. if i put on weight how did i drop cm???

    I agree. And muscle weighs more than fat.

    I don't know that measuring in grams and centimeters is going to help your overall outlook. It's easy to measure those spots just slightly off and get different amounts, especially if you are particularly curvy, or measuring in extremely small increments.

    It is possible to add weight and lose inches though. Through exercise you tone and shape your body and lose fat, replacing with muscle. There are other posts that go into more detail on the subject. I personally lean toward inches lost as a better measurement of progress than the scale.
