Walden Farms - 0 Cal, 0 Carb, 0 Fat - Thoughts?

Hello Everyone...

I've been told about (actually have had people really rave) about the Walden Farms Brand of products. Every product they have (it appears) is 0 calories, 0 carbs, 0 fat... Not really sure how it's possible, but the ingredients are in there! I am wondering about what feedback anyone has?!?

I've tried the ketchup -- not exactly the same thing as what I think of as ketchup, but when I use it to cook with (vs dipping) it has worked well!

I tried the BBQ sauce tonight, and... well, I am just not sure. I'll try it again... tasted pretty pancake syrup-y for me. It also said it was the "thick" one and it's not thick at all. I haven't given up on that one -- but it's gonna take some thought to try it on something again (and I probably will love it next time).

I have the pancake syrup and raspberry fruit spreads in my cupboard. I also have a salad dressing. I just haven't tried them, as, well, the idea of 0/0/0 - while great for calorie count - still freaks me out a little! SO... I am looking for your thoughts and recommendations!

Thanks in advance...

P.S. I am very interested in the chocolate dip... I see that they advertise doing chocolate covered strawberries with that, and the picture looks good. BUT -- is it real? is it good?

A friend of mine uses those products and she really likes them! They were introduced to her for her HCG diet so that's probably why they tasted so good!

IMO, food should have calories unless it is a spice. How can something like those products have that much flavor and no calories? One word, CHEMICALS! I am not a perfect eater. If I was, I wouldn't be trying to lose any weight. But there are a few things I refuse to put in my body. I would rather eat real, natural dressing that eat that many chemicals to save a few calories. Plus you can make the same dressings at home with a lot less sugar than what is sold at the food store.

PS I have tried them. So I can personally say YUCK!!! The caramel and chocolate had the worst after taste.
