Scale recommendations?

After hubby's weight shot up 23 pounds overnight, and my weight dropped almost by that much, we've determined our 10 year old scale may be losing its' grip on reality and may need to be replaced. We are thinking digital scale, but I know not all scales are created equal. Any recommendations for a good, affordable digital scale? Thanks!

The best scales are definately the weight watchers ones. I don't know why, but they are the only scales that have always been consistent. For example, with my old scale (I think it was put out my The Biggest Loser), I would step on the scale a few times in a row and it would always be off by as much as a pound. With the digital WW scale, I can get on the scale 5 times in a row and it reads the exact same weight. I check a few times because I want to make sure the scale is consistent. I find them to be very accurate, I would reccomend getting one of those.

I love my EatSmart scale - I got it on amazon.com. It's really great - and if something goes wrong with it within 2 years of purchase, just call the company and they'll send you a new one. (Small, family run business). I love their food scale too.

I have a WW digital scale and I like it a lot. It is very consistent. I had an old dial scale before I got the WW one and I could shift my body just right and weigh 10 lbs less than I really did. I decided that wasn't a good way to keep myself on track. The new scale ran about $25.

Yes weight watchers scale! I just got mine 2 weeks ago and am loving how accurate it is. I got the one that measures the body fat, water, bone mass etc, and it was around $40 i think.

Great - thanks all! Yes, my old scale has a "sweet spot" where I weight 10 - 15 pounds less, LOL! Nice on those depressed days, but not really helping any other time!

I posted the same topic the other day and I liked this recommendation. Going to buy it later this week, I think!

I'm also looking for one. I heard Tanita makes good scales - but they are about $50 more than the Eat Smart one recommended.

The EatSmart one linked above is the one I have. It's been pretty consistent so far; I'd definitely recommend it.
