Hi my names Gary and I am over weight.

That is how you are supposed to do it isn't it.?
The first step to recovery..

I was over 110Kg and swore I would get below the 100 and managed it. even got to the low 90's but it has been creeping back.. I hit 98 and went omg how ??? I am back to 96 but I want to be at most 85 and stable..

I work on a farm and I should get loads of exercise but most of the work is driving a tractor so I still on my backside most of the time.

This is my first time on this sort of thing. have tried weight watchers many moons ago but that just seemed a total waste of time.
I found out about cal counting and exercise tracking yesterday by accident looking at android software. Today I went searching and found this site..

So here I am..
I have an xbox and the kinect camera and use that with some software to do my work outs too as I am too tight to fork out for the gym. ( I believe in not driving to exercise ) and the gym is K's away..

I will persevere... Motivation Motivation Motivation.. ( new mantra ) ..

:)
Gary

I know what you mean by weight creeping back. This site really works for me, hope it does for you. Just the daily planning of my meals and the tracking of my exercise brings "awareness" of what I do every day and if one day I am out socializing and eat too much, no sweat. Next day, the tracking brings me back to where I should be.
And it's actually kind of fun. So welcome and good luck to you!

Welcome. I did weight watchers too and I was not a fan, paying money for the privelege to track what I eat and sit and listen to peopl oooh and aaaah at meetings every week drove me nuts. when I quit that I found this site and love it! Good luck on your journey! :)
