Not complaining but I don't understand.....

Yesterday I had one of those days that I ate everything under the sun; I just couldn't seem to stop or get enough. So this morning I'm thinking "Okay self get your booty back on track" so I got on the scale to assess the damage.......183.5 WTF???? I was 185 yesterday morning when I did my weekly weigh in. How does that happen?

I've found that it sometimes takes a few days for the dust to settle if I eat poorly one day or exercise an extra lot one day. Of course, there's always water weight that could be the loss. Who knows?

sometimes when you are doing very good for a while then you binge, your body's metabolism doesn't understand so it kicks into high gear. at least that's what i heard... or something like that lol.
  • that always happens to me lol ...i feel like my body gets those extra calories and says to itself, "its ok..we aren't starving anymore so we can let go of the weight." then I work really hard for the next few days and the weight just melts off..

This always happens to me. I was stuck at 248 then went to a chinese buffet, next morning down to 246 and then I got stuck at 242 went to eat at Ryan's buffet and the next day down to 240. I don't questions it, I just go with it lol.

I think this is perfect proof that one "bad" day won't kill your whole plan. Weight fluctuates day to day, and hour to hour, for many reasons.....water weight, sodium intake, using the restroom, etc.

You body wanted more food yesterday, so you gave it to it. No worries. :)

 That is why I only weigh in once a week. I think there is a huge fluctuation throughout the day and week and that would just be a roller coaster for me. Additionally, I weigh at the gym, So I can't weigh in unless I go to the gym for a workout. So far that has been incentive. Hopefully it will continue to be.

It happens all the time to me. It just happened this week! I was 240.2 on Sunday and today I weighed myself and 236.4?!?
Whatever! I don't complain I just take it. It was probably too much sodium and not enough water on the weekend!
