Good Morning all.... I just did my cardio workout for today but lately I have been doing them so early in the morning that by the time evening comes around I want to do something else. That in itself is amazing. I have only been exercising for 3 weeks now and now I want to do it more. I cant believe it. My hubby and oldest son leaves today for Richmond, VA. They wont be back until Sunday. I will miss them. Both of them are big Jeff Gordon fans and my hubby got picked to go and meet him so they figured they might as well go the race also. So its me and my middle son who is 8 and my daughter who is 13 mths for the rest of the week. What will I do. LOL..... Who wants to party..... Of course yall have to leave by 8 pm... Bed time for the kids... LOL....
I found these great new meat things by tyson in the refrigerated section. I got the Seasoned steak last night. They are precooked and one serving is only 140 calories. There are 2 servings in a bag but it is great when my hubby isnt exactly eating what I am trying to eat. Although I think he would like those. I at a baked potato with some butter and weight watchers cheese. Those strips with some brown rice and some peas and that was all under 550 calories. It was such a great dinner.
Well I hope more of you smurfettes check in. I like to talk, can you tell. Im usually at home with a 13 mth old who does her best to have conversations with me but alas its just not the same.

Morning Connie! Great job with your cardio already over! Isn't it an amazing feeling to just crave exercise? I remember when i first started about three years ago i would be so pooped at the end of the day i would just fall asleep when my head hit the pillow! And the soreness in my muscles was kinda like a 'proud' feeling,LOL....my husband calls me a freak! My workouts have been suffering lately though i had two injuries in the past month:sad: its hard to have the desire to workout but can't due to injury:ohwell: what are your plans for the day? Im a stay at home mom so i will be doing that,LOL. Have you tried the tyson southwestern chicken strips that come in a little plastic container yet? Oh man,there good too...there also precooked and ready to go....i like to put them in a wrap with some salsa, talk about easy and delishious!
Today is going to be a thirty minute run interval and some strength training! Not sure if im doing UB or LB? I hurt my back last week so i will have to really listen to my body and be careful....don't want to cause more damage!0 -

I'm drinking my glass of water and I just finished reading the thread from yesterday. Connie, you are so right about weighing in on Tuesday because I can't stand looking at the scale any more!!! My family is getting Christmas photos done for the first time in November and I can't even look at myself in the mirror let along get my photo taken. I don't even see the scale moving and since I didn't get my measurements done yet I don't really notice a change there either!
Getting really frustrated and I want to quit!!0 -
Vanessa82, im sorry your feeling frustrated....i feel like that sometimes too. please don't give up,then you will REALLY feel bad! My scale hasn't move in over a year and thats with working out 6days a week,dieting and falling on my face every other week,so believe me when I say.....I KNOW how you feel! Just hang in there,don't think about it so much! Im sure you have lost inches......good luck to ya0

hello blue teamers.
being in the uk ils already past noon, tonight i will go to my aqua aerobic class, and do some swimming after, last night, on top of 30 min on the elliptical i swam a km in 30 min, (thats 40 lenghts of 25 m each) i've been doing that for a couple weeks so i will try to up a little,, so tonight i will do 42 lenghts in 30 min.
one thing though, this old man was trying to chat me up a the pool, as i got out he congratulated me on my hard work ( when there was 3 other swimmers that had been going much stronger and longuer then me ) .. anyways ..i didnt like it... so i told my bf when i made it home, and he said, what, aged people are not allowed to talk anymore !... i guess he was right, i mean he was just trying to be nice. he didnt say or do anything bad, if he had been younger and good looking i wouldn't have interpreteted the same way but would have been just as dangerous.
anyways.

Punka, what does UB or LB mean? I new to all this LOL
I havent tried those in the container yet but I did get some chicken ones that are packaged just like the steak strips were. Going to eat that for either dinner or lunch. Im sorry you have hurt yourself. My muscles are sore also. That biggest loser dvd makes me sore.
You will get there Vanessa. I need to lose at least 150 lbs but I am taking it one day at a time. I gained a lb last week and I was stepping on the scale everyday and it was upsetting so now I will just do it on Tuesdays. I wanted to step on the scale this morning and I didnt. I am so proud of my self for that little feat.
I am a stay at home mom also. My daughter is so attached to me also. We live right above my inlaws and she is just now getting to where she will let mamaw hold her. I am going to join the rec center soon but she will have to be watched when I go. That is going to be fun.

Hey Connie..UB upperbody and LB is lowerbody....ive actually decided to do a circuit workout which is a combination of cardio,lb and ub! Im feeling like a have a little pep in my step today,LOL
I also find that when i step on the scale everyday i lose my mind a little more and more so ive decided to only do it once a week. Its SO HARD too,LOL
ok,off to do that workout now

I just ordered the turbo Jam in the mail. It will probably take about a week to get here. I got free upgrade to express shipping. I have heard so much about it on here and it sounded like fun so I figured I would give it a try. Maybe do some biggest loser some times and some turbo jam some other times. It comes with a lot of stuff. Wish me luck on it. I will probably only be able to do about 20 minutes of it but I will give it my all although I do close to 30 minutes on biggest loser.. The first workout. I was going to try workout number 2 tomorrow on it.
