Hi everyone, my name is Jess, I have been following the 17 day diet for over a month now, about 45 days. I have lost 22 lbs in that time. I have tried so so many diets and even lipo but I always crash after a few weeks but this time it is so different. I don't even have any temptation to cheat. Don't get me wrong first week was rough but after that it has ben great. I think the fact that you initially drop a nice number is so motivating and changing the way you eat every 17 days keeps it fresh and doesn't feel like I am on a diet. I noticed a few times when I was scared to go over my calories because of re introducing my carbs I would go too low and my weight loss stalled so I tracked everything and now I make sure to be as close or a little above 1200 and my weight started to move down again. I haven't been excersing regularly yet but I have introduced more and more physical activity into my life and I am enjoying being more and more active with out being in pain. I still have a lot of weight to go but just loosing that 22 lbs has brought my confidence back up a lot. I really enjoy coming on here every day and reading everyone's stories and getting great advise and support, If I can help anyone I am here. Thanks

I started and lost 5 pounds but was not feeling well and gained it all back. I started again today and I pray that I can finish it it up this time. Losing the weight made me feel so much better. Good luck on your journey

It sucks to get sick, you really just don't feel like eating good foods, seams like your body wants crap, lol. I am sure you can do this, you just need to get back on track and you will see it will go so fast you will reach your goal in no time.

That's awesome, Jess! Just keep going. You're doing great, and the longer you do this, the easier it gets. It becomes more of a way of life, than a "diet." You CAN do this!!
