I saw this and thought it would be good to post. Obviously there are other things you can eat for the same amount of calories or less....but these are some ideas. Just check the nutrition info on fast food websites and you can find some better choices if fast food is your only option some days. :)

  • On the theme of fast food eating. My daughter wanted to go to Wendy's. I had a grilled chicken sandwich, side salad and diet coke. Yeah!! Until she didn't eat all of her nuggets. I then had 5 chicken nuggets and say about 15 french fries. Came right home and logged everything. I only went over by 4 calories!! I was pleased. I won't do it again, but it was reassuring that I could have some of the old faves sometimes without hurting myself.

    (Homer Simpson) MMmmm....Subway....

    Everytime I go there, I get a 6 inch chicken breast on wheat with lettuce, tomato, onion, carrots, and the pepper relish...so spicy and yummy! At Wendy's/Chik Fil A I get the grilled chicken sandwich, no mayo/cheese. I really don't find it difficult to get something healthy while I'm out...I just make sure it's chicken, it's not fried, and there's no mayo/cheese, and with salads I get vinaigrette and use just 1/4 of the packet.
