Part time job cals

So I just started working part time at a coffee café--I'm on my feet the entire time I'm there (minus lunch breaks). Lately I've been putting it in as exercise--halving the time I'm standing at work and calculating it as "walking, slow, 2mph". I figure I'm not going like that all day, but I should be burning SOME extra cals standing on my feet for 8 hours or more.
My question is this: should I change my setting from "sedentary lifestyle" to the next one up or continue logging it as exercise? I don't work everyday, which is why I'm not sure if I should change the lifestyle (since I'm pretty sedentary on the days I'm off). But should I change it and then just eat the sedentary cals on my days off (minus the lifestyle increase off my cals the days I don't work)??
I know the most accurate way would be to get a heart monitor and maybe add the correct cal burn for the days I work, but I don't have that disposable income yet. (I fully intend to purchase a HRM in a month or so.) But I'd like to keep accurate counts (READ: keep losing weight w/o screwing up my metabolism), until I can get one.
Suggestions???
Thanks in advance, guys. You're all awesome!

I would suggest counting it for the first few weeks and then changing your lifestyle as your body becomes used to working that amount.0
