Question: Is it true that when starting a new "diet" of any kind whether its eating less or differently, you gain weight at first and then you start to lose weight? I'm starting notice I'm gaining weight rather than losing weight even though I'm eating healthier and less and I'm confused...What should I do? Any recommendations? Thanks for your help!

That's probably not true for everyone. But it certainly happened to me. It couldn't hurt to get checked out by your doctor, just to make sure everything is in order.
I do believe, that if you cut your calories too much too soon, your metabolism will slow, and your body will try to store up any extra calories it can, thinking starvation is imminent.0 -
