I recently purchased a hrm watch with chest strap. How acurate are they? Is it possible that while playing Kinect Sports I actually burnt 640 calories in 35 minutes?

its possible. theres some workouts out there that can burn up to 1000 per hour!!! it just depends on how much you get into it.0

I burned 600 calories in 40 minutes yesterday. Some people burn more. That's possible, I believe.
I personally think the HRMs with a chest strap are the most accurate you can get unless you set it up wrong. I have a Polar HRM with a chest strap and it's the best investment I've made in my journey so far besides my gym membership!0 -
Sure it's possible, if you really worked up your heart rate. If you put in all the settings correctly about your weight, age and all that, then HRM with chest band truly are accurate. Great job!0

I did get my heart rate going... It got up to 194 for a little bit, and just sitting here im at 120. I can't wait to see what I burn while I'm at work. It should be interesting. While im thinking about it... If I burn the 640 calories, should I eat only part of them back, none back, all back?0
