I calorie goal is 1870, but I have been told by several people that this is too low, but wont I over eat if its higher? What are you're thoughts, I still 50 more pounds to go.

It depends on what your current weight and BMR are. If you've taken too big a drop in calories, it can keep you from losing weight. I recently hit a plateau and added 300 calories to my daily intake, then started losing again.0

Is that your calorie goal set by MFP?
If you're not hungry or struggling to eat that much/little then I wouldn't worry, as long as it's lower than your BMR.0 -
Is it greater than 200 less than your recommended calories after exercise? Are those exercise calories being tracked properly (using a calorie counting heart rate monitor)? If you aren't getting enough fuel for your body, it's not going to convert that fat into usable energy...it'll take it from your muscles instead. Why does it take it from your muscles? Because muscles require energy. The body would rather not build up those muscles which would require more fuel...and if you aren't eating enough it's not getting fuel. Storing fat is easier and safer for survival. So, yes, eat a bit more. After a few weeks you'll be able to better judge if you're making progress. If not, then modify as needed.0

Well..Since it is suppose to be based on you losing up to 2 pds.. I would say yes as close as possible. Some days we exercise more than others and definitely on those days its harder to than normal so I let a few calories slide. I hope this helps buddy..0

Who knows. Below is a LONG post / link that I use or refer to when in doubt. Banks is not a professional by any means but the stuff he posts makes sense and I think it is all a crack shoot since none of us are the same and many numbers are very general and can not take in everything by any means.

You need to eat more. Forget about what MFP says.
Calculate your maintenance caloric level by reading this:
http://www.bodyrecomposition.com/fat-loss/how-to-estimate-maintenance-caloric-intake.html
Then set the appropriate deficit (I would start with 20%), then set protein and fat.0 -
