Signs that your metabolism is increasing?

I've started to notice some changes in my body and I'm wondering if I'm finally getting my metabolism up. For example, I've been including 2 snacks in between my 3 meals, however I find that I'm starving after my afternoon snack. I normally have breakfast (protein shake) at 8am, then a healthy snack (usually a yogurt or piece of fruit) at 10am, then lunch at 12, then a snack at about 3pm (granola bar). By 6pm I'm starving, so I have another snack, then workout, then either have a good dinner or another protein shake. I never used to need the 2nd PM snack, so I'm wondering what's going on? I definitely don't want to gain weight, but if my body is telling me I'm hungry I figure I better eat something! I've also seen an increase in my bathroom usage (sorry, TMI, I know) so I'm happily thinking maybe my metabolism is increasing? I've also Googled the subject but didn't really get any specifics. Does anyone know? Has anyone encountered this? BTW, I'm currently doing the Insanity workouts so I'm burning 400+ calories 6x/week.

Definitely. If you're ever not hungry, it means you've either overtrained or your metabolism is bad. It makes sense right? Burn through food faster, you're more hungry.0 -
Make sure your NET cals are at a minimum of 1200 at the end of the day. Eat more cals in your snacks or lunch so you don't have as much to eat at the end of the day. This is your metabolism increasing. You don't want to go into a plateau due to 'starvation mode" so you might want to up your cals by 100 each day. Eat mor fiber too. It helps to feel fuller longer.0
