hard to get back into it

As some of you know, my wife had a baby about 8 weeks go. prior to that i had lost 5kg. since then tho i have found it really hard to get back into my weight loss regime.

i have only really gained about 500 grams in that time but it is so hard to go back to what i was doing before with the added stress of a newborn.

i have gone back to karate training and i am trying to get back in to running.

hopefully i can get my *kitten* back into gear soon.

    your life has been turned upside down and your priorities have changed so of course it's going to be hard to get back into exercise, but try and plan to do something new each week - perhaps this week you will plan meals and snacks for 3 days (or a week if game), next week you will get out and go for a run twice, and each week add to it before you know you will be back into it.

    Of course just as you start to get comfortable with how things are going and perhaps even having a bit of a schedual then bub will through a spanner in the works and remind you who is boss, but no drama just re-assess and get back into it a week or a day at a time.

    i have faith u can keep up the good job. we all fall; but the important thing is getting back on track. congradulations on the new baby. but when i fall i just trie to tell my self that i forgive myself; and i will do better.I think about the good things i want to enjoy for tomarrow and everyday life. So keep up and i know having a new bady is alot but she or he needs u now and tomarrow, He or She needs you healthy and active to be in this world. Try to find time for you; there is no shame in that; and think about what you want to change on your goal. i have faith you can do this!!! So good luck and keep me informed. again congradulations on the new baby.

    Its is tough to get back into the game but you can do it.

    You are already on the way back , you have gone back to Karate. Little bit by little bit.

    you have done so well before the birth of your little one , use him to be motivation to get back into it , we're here for you if you need to be rev'd up.
