Finals? What subject and how do you think you did?

Statistics. Glad to be done. Classes were two nights a week and homework was four+ hours a week. Too much for my busy schedule. So glad it's over. I think I got a B on the final exam and an A for the semester.

I will take only one class one night a week this fall. And it should have very little homework as most of the work is in class: Geographic Information Systems Spatial Analysis (maps on computer).

I don't have finals for another three weeks, but I'm taking my last midterm on Thursday for chemistry. Not excited at all. :[ I hate my professor. He talks a million miles a minute, doesn't really explain much, gives 4 to 5 clicker quizzes in lecture that are always calculational and assigns a gross amount of homework on top of giving practice exams with no solutions for the exams. So, I'm practicing.. but with no clue if I'm even anywhere near the right answer! Can it be summer already? Oh wait... I'm taking summer classes as well. =/

My last final was this evening in Poli Sci. Had two others prior that included Native American Experiences, California Native Americans. I also had an 8-week class at the beginning of the semester (Primatology) and I got an A.

My final tonight was super easy and I was done in less than 30 minutes. Based on my grades going into my three finals this past week I predict a 4.0 for the semester.

Now it's time to shut off my brain for three months.

I took DiffEQ, Discrete Math, ASL, Analogue Circuits, Intro to Dramatic Arts... Still taking finals! Hopefully I should get A's in everything though. Got an A+ and a TA offer from circuits, so that's cool.

I'm really proud of myself for sticking with my workout program this week. If I can still run, and not binge eat, during finals, then I think I'm doing something right!

My chem class was like that. Took it years ago in the mid 90's. I barely scraped by with a C and that took an extraordinary amount of effort. Of a class of 100 only 15 remained and not all who remained passed the class.

I didn't enjoy stats. I found it to be about as challenging as Physics. But physics was fun because we could test what we learned. Stats...well, you just have to hope you crunched the numbers because no one in their right mind would want to do lots and lots of trials to determine if the test statistic or probability holds true.
