Has anyone ever done this for the whole 9 weeks, does it work? I'm on day one.

I started week 4 today. I'm a bit under the weather and couldn't make the 5 minute intervals but will give that day another shot tomorrow. I've found my endurance has increased already.

I've had to repeat week 6 several times (not because I couldn't move on but because of other distractions!). I did week 7, day 1, yesterday - 25mins, non-stop- and it was great!

I'm determined to 'graduate' by the end of this month.

Week 1 was the worst week for me and I am NOT a runner so I thought it would be the easiest!!!!

Keep at it, stay slow and enjoy! If you need to repeat weeks then do!!!

I did it in 10 weeks a few years ago, from memory I had a cold one week but I got straight back into it the next week.
It really does work you know. I am always banging on about the C25k because I think it is brilliant. Its like having a personal trainer running with you telling you when to stop and start.
Im pretty sure that the C25k website has a forum where you can talk to others who are up to the same stage as you. Or you could start a group on here for people who want to start with you so you arent doing it on your own.
    Good luck with it :)

Almost! I repeated the first few weeks before I could get through all the run intervals and by week 7 found that I could run half an hour so didn't bother following the last few weeks.
I started in January and apart from having a few low key weeks with a sore knee, I've been running 3 - 5km 3 or 4 times a week most weeks.
I still run really slowly but I'm OK with that, I want to build up some muscle strength and endurance first and then gradually increase my speed.

I found Week 1 tough as well! I'm about to go out for W3D3, and I have to say that I've found this week really easy! Good luck with the programme, Rowdyropermom - I hope you enjoy it as much as I do. x
