I picked two out for my husband- "Braying *kitten*", and "Man Who Knows Everything".

Mine would be "Drives Like the Wind"

I was actually assigned a 'secret' indian name at camp when I was a kid. It was (something about shyness) Peacock. I thought it was a cool name because it was a contradiction and it expressed both sides of my nature well. Of course it was given to me after five summers there so I guess the counselors knew me pretty well! :flowerforyou:

Ahead of you on this one--when I was a kid and first found out I had Native American in my ancestry--albeit no more than 1/8--I was so excited! I was determined to live like a Native American! I got so mad at my mom that she wouldn't let me take my bed out of my room and sleep on the floor

Anyway, I came up with my own name based upon reading some books and seeing how Native Americans would earn/receive their names. So I named myself when I was like 8

My Native American name is: Yellow Bear.

Don't ask me how I came up with that--who can remember what I did 38 years ago! But that's what I decided on then.

There is a female Native American (Cherokee) named Wilma Mankiller.

    I want her last name.

"Yes, Ms. Mankiller, of course you can have whatever you like!"

Info on Wilma Mankiller for anyone interested:

Let's see Jamerz could be "He who wears loincloth with stars"

Me...let's try out Crazy running bird....long ago on CB radio( that certainly ages me!) I was Sandpiper, after the shore bird who scurries all over the beach...never in a straight line. so in an effort to lose weight part of my mission is to go back to that more active lifestyle and ..eat like a bird(small meals) so that should work!!

Foot in mouth. Both for my bendy yogininess and my uncanny ability to say the wrong thing at the wrong time.

    Losesentireperson!

I think BEFORE needs to use is Indian name exclusively on here. BEFORE is too confusing.

I dont think "DumbAsSh#T" would be appropriate nor would "Totem Pole."
