diet log advice

Hello everyone, I was wondering if any of you successful dieters would mind checking into my profile and looking at my diet log to give me some tips. I have been workng on the weight loss more seriously now for about a month and weight basically the same as when I started. Some info: I am breastfeeding, 5'9'', large frame (according to the wrist-grab rule), not getting more than 5 hrs of sleep a night (have a baby). I'm also doing the 30DS daily and occationally adding walks or short jogs about 2-3x per week, and always get my water quota in. I originally put my goal at 1 lb per week, but when it wasn't changing much and I noticed I was able to eat less calories I changed it to 1.5lbs per week. Anyway, I am feeling more toned so I thought it was the gaining muscle first deal, but seems like by now I should have seen a greater change on the scale. Thanks in advance for any tips!!

    While nursing, I wouldn't work too hard to drop weight. You should be adding about 600 calories a day just for the extra calories your body needs for nursing.

    If you're toning up right now don't worry so much about the scale. Get a tape measure and look at your inches lost... But you're on the right track and that baby is adorable!!!!! I just wanna pinch his little cheeks!

    I agree.

    MFP recommends that you record your measurements every two weeks.

    I haven't tried measurements but thats a good idea. May help prevent me from getting discouraged :)
