My husband and I will celebrate 5 yrs of marriage on Sept 23. I want him to take me out to dinner somewhere fancy!! In order for me to wear a smoking hot dress I want to get down to 175. I have 18 weeks and about 50 pds. First of all I want to see if you all think its possible. I figured it to about 3 pds a week. It means alot to me since I have always been heavy our entire relationship. Any motivation is greatly welcome!!! I thankfully have alot of support from my husband (he set a goal of about 30 pds by then) but I need as many people standing behind me cheering me on!!!

you will need to work out everyday. also, if you dont want to gain it all back, after you lose weight you will need to keep up a healthy regime. i can say that this is my 3rd week and i've lost 11lbs as of monday.0

The best advice I can give you is to take one day at a time. Don't look at September, look at today. Without putting alot of pressure on yourself you will do great!0

I don't think you can count on three pounds a week. You might be able to pull it off for the first couple of weeks, but not for a full 18. Try something a little bit more manageable - like maybe just twenty pounds? Then if you go a bit over you'll be pleasantly surprised, but if you don't then you won't be so depressed that you'll just give up.
I think that no matter how much weight you lose your husband will find you totally smoking hot no matter how much you lose or what dress you wear. Besides, you can always surprise him on another occasion - maybe on a birthday or something in a shiny tiny piece of lingerie0
