I used it for one of the Hungry Girl recipts (Fettucine Hungry Girlfredo) and I was underwhelmed. Thank god they didn't taste how they smelled...but I had trouble with the texture.

Anyone have any good experiences?

Yep, love em! Did you rinse them thoroughly? Then boil them for about 7 minutes, then rinse, drain, and dry? It takes some of the rubberiness away. Also..........they are 20 calories!!! What do you expect from a Japanese Yam mixed with tofu? Nothing healthy tastes incredibly wonderful until you get used to it.
Last night I had it with spagetti sauce made with meat and some grated parmesan.

Stronger flavored sauce and extra boiling are the key...good luck

I had the same experience. I was really sad that they were not what I was hoping for. Maybe I did something wrong, who knows. Would love to know if someone knows how to make them tasty!

Ahhh, no, I did rince and dry thoroughly, but did not boi (the microwave has you just 'nuke 'em. Yes, they are incredibly low-cal, but also seem like a lot of maintenance seeing as I end up hungry again not soon after eating them.

I'm willing to give them another go, though.

I want so much to like these but I can't stand them - I think it's like eating slimy rubber for some reason...

I can stand putting them in soups - that's about it.
