How often should I update my diet/fitness profile?

I just accidentally updated it today, even though I already did about a week ago, and it changed everything. I was curious about something, so I changed it thinking I could switch it back, but it's still different than before. I was at 1650 calories as of updating it a little less than a week ago, but now it says I should do 1590. Should I roll with it, or should I change it back manually to what it was? What do you guys think?

you're referring to checkin in with weight etc right? or are you talking about adjusting your activity level which in turn adjusts calories?
  • It's under settings - it says "Update diet/fitness profile." I changed the fitness level to see what would happen, then changed it back. But I'm 4 pounds less than last week, so maybe it lowered my calories because of that. I guess what that made me wonder is, should you update it every time you change something, or just leave it alone and keep it consistent?
