Hi guys...I'm hoping someone can maybe help me figure out this calorie counting thing...
I know this weekend I am going out of town and will likely indulge a little bit more than I would at home...I'm hoping to keep things under control, but likely will go over my 1200 calories for the day..and won't be working out.

If i were to "shave" about 100-200 calories off a day this week..with either extra work outs or just being a little more cautious of what I eat...would this balance out? Or would I come back Monday morning and be mad at the scale (and myself)?
Any tips?

My experience is yes, it does balance out over time, but not necessary by Monday morning. You may instead see a mini plateau this week and a larger than average drop next week. In my case I wrote it off to temporary water weight gain due to higher sodium on my days of indulgence.

I do that sometimes, but not several days in a row.
