NSV, almost messed up......then didn't

I brought a delicious soup for lunch today budgeted for and everything ! I then proceeded to dump it all over myself, so I had to rush home and change, that didn't leave me any time to eat. So I get back to work and in the break room is AAAHHHHHH free pizza from Ledo's. It's cheese thin crust and cut into small squares. So I grab 3-4 slices and think I'll just eat that instead. I took a bite and it wasn't the best pizza I've had, the old me would have kept on eating, but something in me said, don't screw this up this pizza isn't worth it, have one square so you'll have eaten something and just walk away. So I did. It's nice to see when your bad habits change into better ones. Are there any habits you have noticed that have changed since you started on MFP?

    that is awesome lol. i have done this sort of thing before with lots of things. i ordered a chicken fajita pita at jack in the box (only like 300 calories).. and i didn't realize that it came with fries. instead of eating the french fries like my old self would have done.. i just threw them away. best feeling ever. :)

    Although I've only ever used low fat spread on toast etc, I do now use less than a quarter of what I used to because I know the calorie count for it!

    I stopped at McDonalds for a sausage biscuit and hashbrown... surely after 2 months thats okay to do it once....... i got in the drive thru, and when i got to the speaker to order, i drove off....... i just couldnt bring myself to do it

    I don't look at cake/ice cream/pie/etc and think "man I NEED to have some of that". Now I just turn my head and say "I'll have some pine apple when I get home" or yogurt or whatever else is sweet yet healthy. Since March 8th I've had cake once (at a wedding) and ice cream once (at a funeral wake; was the deceased fav so it was in memory).

    I went out to eat with my boyfriend last night and got corn on the cob instead of fries as my side. I actually like corn on the cob better, but before I would have just taken the fries without asking what other sides were available. I also was full after half my hamburger and instead of stuffing myself full of the rest of it like I used to do, I got a to-go box for it.
