Changing your weight loss goal...

Hey everyone.

Well I had 20lbs to lose before starting MFP. I've lost about 10-11lbs so far so I only have 9lbs to go.

I thought about changing my goal to lose 1lb a week rather than 1.5lbs a week which I'm on at the moment. So I went onto the goal bit of MFP to see how many extra calories I would get & it's set me at 1520 rather than the 1320 allowance I would have if I were to carry on losing 1.5lbs a week.

Now the bit that's confusing me is.. I just went to set it back to lose 1.5lbs a week & it now says my calorie allowance is 1270 instead of the usual 1320 calories? I assume that it's because I don't weigh as much now as I did when I first started MFP, but what if I wouldn't of changed it my goal & carried on eating 1320 (based on my start weight).. Would I still lose 1.5lbs a week? Sorry if it doesn't make sense, it's confusing lol.
