This is my lifestyle change!!!

Recently I realized that I can live in the current I have anymore. No one or anything can change it, only I can make that change for myself. I decided to start eating well and to stay under my daily recommended calories and fat. I love this site because it helps to keep me on track. I know that everything I eat must be logged in my diary which helps me to make conscious decisions with what I eat. I have done a 360 in comparison to the things I was eating before. I love junk food and all of that bad stuff that wasn't helping my situation.
I am now also exercising everyday for at least 30 minutes. Usually on my elliptical trainer. I want to work up the endurance to run on my treadmill.
I am pretty sure I am getting the hang of foods. I am really getting to know the foods I eat. I now know that it's no wonder I gained so much weight now that I see the nutritional information. Most of the things I was eating, I won't even touch now.
I am still confused when it comes to fruits and veggies. I have stopped logging all the fruit I eat in my diary because I found if I log every single fruit and/or veggie I eat, I go way over my 'carb' numbers and then I fell extremely hungry.
So, I will just eat the daily recommended value of 5 servings of fruit a day and not worry about that. Veggies are hard for me because there are not many veggies I like. To get those veggies in I drink V8 Vegetable cocktail.
Anyways, here I am just blabbing on and on.
My name is Amanda. I weight 205 pounds. I want to loose 50-60 pounds and have a normal BMI. But most importantly and my main reason for this lifestyle change is so I can feel good about myself.
