How come everytime I eat breakfast I am starving like 2 hours later? But, when I just have a coffee I can make it to lunch time (sometimes even later).

Im not 100% on this one, but my guess would be that when you eat breakfast you start your metabolism then. If you just have a coffee, your metabolism doesnt start (or kick into full calorie burning mode) until you eat lunch. Technically you are suppose to eat 6 times a day anyway, to prevent your metabolism from slowing down. Giving it constant fuel keeps it going. Also its proven those who eat breakfast weigh (on average) less than those who dont. It is for sure the most important meal of the day.
So grab that oatmeal, (AND PROTEIN) and just plan for a snack a few hours later
Hope I helped.

Eating breakfast will kickstart your metabolism, causing hunger sooner. It also depends on WHAT your eating for breakfast. Stay away from sugar or empty carbs- make sure your eating protein and/or fiber to keep you full.0

when you eat breakfast you jump start your metabolism, therefore your body uses the fuel quicker, that is why it is important to eat in the am, get you body burning!0

I always have a banana smoothie with peanut butter and some sort of milk with a little honey, or eggs and 2 turkey sausages, then I have an apple or banana like 2 hours later. then lunch 2 hours after that, then another snack 2 hrs later then another snack 2 hrs later then dinner I think it's good I've lost almost 20 lbs since january0

I am that SAME way! Kind of frustrating... because you know you're supposed to eat breakfast, but then you get hungrier and feel like you just want to eat more... whereas with just a cup of coffee (or something nothing at all) you can make it to noon without feeling hungry... and you think, well if I don't eat, I won't gain weight, etc. I sometimes still think that way, but it's not good for you!
Eating breakfast will kick start your metabolism... so you'll be hungry sooner, but your body will be working and will start burning calories faster/at a better rate. You could always have a snack in between... fruit or a granola bar. I know it's not always that easy... I always crave protein, carbs, and salt for breakfast! (SmartOnes breakfasts are really yummy btw!)... but you just have to find something healthy that works for you... not everyone and not every body is the same. This morning I had coffee and a Weight Watchers bagel with cream cheese... and surprisingly wasn't hungry 2 minutes later!

For breakfast I usually have a english muffin with peanut butter. Im always running late so I eat in the car! I have 2 kids so my mornings are crazy trying to get them ready. I leave the house by 6:30, so I'm up pretty early. I think that might be a problem too. I need to find something that will hold me over a little longer.
I was thinking of maybe starting to drink a protein shake in the morning for breakfast.0 -
And I know it might be in my head but I was at a stand still for like a year. I just recently started losing weight again. When I did I lost 3 lbs in a week. (and kept it off)
I just dont want that scale to creep back up!0 -
Remember, If you get 8 hours of sleep, your body hasn't eaten in that amount of time. A cup of coffee might wake you up, but not your metabolism. Eat a meal, wakes up your metabolism. I eat 5 meals a day. But split my calorie allowance within those 5 meals. It's been working for me so far. Good luck!0
