No pockets?!?!

Options
So my jogging attire doesn't have pockets. But when I go outside to workout, I HAVE to bring my phone, incase work needs to get ahold of me or incase of an emergency (God Forbid that should happen!) Anyways, I tried putting it in my sports bra (TMI maybe??) But I sweat alot for a girl, plus I don't want the phone to bounce out- it was kinda spendy.
Hanging on to it, I feel like it may slip out of my hands. Gah! What do you ppl do with your phone if you take it out running?

I have an iPod armband that would probably hold a phone too. Or you can get a jogging belt thingy that has a pocket for a phone and a spot for a waterbottle. I have both and I use them interchangeably.

There area lot of workout clothes that have "media pockets" for ipods and such, but they should be large enough for a phone..if not, the armband idea is good as well..depends on if you like listening to music while you run or not!

I wish more makers of woman's athletic clothes would put pockets in them, and more than those dinky little pockets. I use an armband when I have to take my phone.

My sister put her phone in her bra one night at a bar, (the power was out, and humid as heck) and all the sweat ruined her phone. Phone in bra = not good idea.

I either use an arm band of one of those tiny stretchy 'fanny packs' that I can strap around my waist.

And women's PJ pants need pockets too because if I am walking through the house in my PJ's sometimes I want to put something in my pocket and it's hard to find women's PJ's with pockets.

I have the same problem trying to find a spot for my keys. Currently I clip them with a carabiner onto the waist of my shorts, but they could easily fall off. I'm thinking about getting a jogging belt like Trayn mentioned.

AGREED! As women we do have to take a lot-- phones, mp3, keys, etc. Sometimes I feel like I need a purse when I workout.

Anyway, I use the below item for when I play tennis/walk/run. I use it for my classic ipod and/or my andriod phone. On the days when I need both by ipod and my phone, I put the ipod in the sleeve and my phone in a leather holster which slips onto my pant waistband.

    http://www.usa.philips.com/c/mp3-player-accessories/for-mp3-and-mobile-phone-xxl-dlv1009_17/prd/

This sleeve is great, comes in various sizes and really holds up well with sweat and moisture. You can get it for under 20 bucks at places like Walmart.

    Hope this helps!

I have a waist pack for running that holds my water bottles and has a pocket for stuff like that, or I wear a light jacket with pockets and keep it there.

 I posted the same complaint in my status earlier today!

All my husband's shorts have nice deep pockets. Only one pair of mine do, and they're not deep enough. Keys or a phone could bounce out.

I wanna bring back the Sporran... the purse-like thingie that Scottish men wear in front of their kilts. I'm wearing one in my profile pic.

Fuelbelt, amphipod (another brand of fuel belt), or, if you're not looking to carry hydration with you for whatever reason, check out the SPI belt (stands for small personal items belt). Google it. I've heard a lot of people use it very successfully.

When I used to run outside, I liked to wear one of those mini backpacks with my phone, cigarettes, lighter, keys, and a water bottle in it. It was just big enough for the essentials and I would tighten the straps so it would stay in place.

I use an armband for my iPhone - works great. I don't take keys or anything because I run from home and can get back in the garage with a code. If I go on a trail run away from home or if I'm racing, I have small running belt (Nathan's Shadow Pak) I can bring along to hold keys, cash, chap stick or a credit card & drivers license. For ID no matter where I'm running, I always wear my RoadID bracelet - has my info and emergency contact info in case the worst should ever happen and I am unable to speak for myself.

Oh, and I found my armband and my Shadow Pak at TJ Maxx for about half the retail cost.

For skimpy pockets I use a safety pin to attach keys securely.

I use something called a PeliPocket for my morning jog. It fits my huge Samsung Galaxy and stays on without problem.
    The website is PeliPocket.com
