    Of course you don't burn a lot of calories when you are lifting. The benefit of calorie burn comes from increased muscle size. the larger the muscle the more fuel it requires.

    Agreed! I haven't been this thin since before I had 2 kids (7 years ago!) and I weight MORE now than I did at my thinest. The only difference is this time I'm weight training as well as cardio. Never felt better in my life :)

    This is another myth.
    1 lb of muscle = 6 calories more burned daily.
    Big whoop.
