My office did a bulletin board with pictures of all of our loved ones that are currently serving in the military, retired, or lost their lives in the line of duty. I thought it would be kinda neat to have a thread to thank everyone that has served our country with honor.

Thank you to all of you for what you do...

My cousin Drew is currently serving in the US Army and is deployed to Afghanistan
My first boyfriend from highschool is serving in the US Army and is deployed to Irag
My cousin Austin is in the US Navy and currently in submarine school in Chicago

i dont currently have a member in my family serving but i have a great story!! my daughter who is 10 years old memorized the Gettysburg Address when she just 3 years old and has been asked to recite it, from memory, in church, for school, and for a public choir event with 2000 spectators, and is this year doing it for the local memorial Day event ....i am so proud of her, and she knows what Memorial Day is about!
