water count

Does anyone count anything else (other than water) toward their 8 glass of water each day? I count crystal light and mineral water, any other ideas that would work?

    Herbal teas count towards water intake aswell, I love my mug of camomile tea on an evening but I do add some honey to it.

    My nutritionist allowed us to count anything that is non carbonated, no cafeine and no sugar as water. So decafe coffee/tea, crystal light and mio along with Vitamin Water Zero, Powerade Zero and Lifewater 0.

    64oz per day! Very important! Also try not to drink while eating or right after you eat for better results!
  • I just count my water. I have a hard time drinking enough water so I don't want to cheat myself by thinking I'm drinking more than I really am. I bought some cheap plastic glasses at Target that have a "design line" right at 8 oz. I don't sip water, I drink it a glass at a time and keep track. I know if I've done 8 of those, I'm probably good to go.

    I only drink water and coffee (well, and alcohol, but that’s a whole ‘nuther thread:drinker: ).
    I log my coffee and do my best to count up my waters, about ½ of it is carbonated water, but it has no flavors or sweeteners or anything… just bubbles! Someone else on here said anything with zeros all the way across on nutritional values is same as water, if that helps.
