I get cold when I do a detox or when I start a strict diet, I try to drink warm drinks to help me stay warm.
You might be having too few calories and maybe the wrong types of foods.
I have heard of a few people I know that get very cold when they try to lose weight, but I think you should stick with it, it'll balance out once your body adjusts to it's new weight :flowerforyou:0 -
Sounds like a iron deficiency you should check with your physician.0

Last August (100+ F heat here), when I was 20 pounds down, I was in sweaters. Right now, it's 55 degrees out, I'm 19 pounds further down, and I'm in the same sweaters... I thought it was my body adjusting to both the extra water and loss of insulation.0

I think it is pretty normal as I and my wife experience this when we diet. I think it is your body not having the fuel it is used to just like after I eat a meal during the winter I get cold and that is my body giving all the energy to digestion0

It's normal. I go through the same thing. I'll be sitting in my sweater complaining about how cold it is and the 110lb receptionist next to me says that I'm crazy and it's warm.
It's the loss of insulation. Once you start losing weight more slowly and then get into the maintenance phase your body will adjust on it's own.0 -
Yesterday, it was sunny and almost 80 degrees. I was wearing jeans and a fleece jacket. I wear long sleeves under my polos at work. I bring a sherpa-lined fleece to work everyday. The thermostat stays at about 73...0
