Ranting about a friend :(

friend 1 asked me time and time again to ride with them ,I said ok, so I drive at ALL THE WAY THERE -
I greet friend 2 -- then friend 3 comes out and tells me they weren't expecting me to be there ,:sick: :brokenheart: they had already invited a married couple to ride with them ...There was no room for me. Then friend 1 walks in and says ..." Oh you didn't call friend 2 and 3 to tell them you were coming " ??

I got up and left :explode: and so ashamed! Now I had to driveever further, for almost an hour to where we all needed to go.


RRRRRGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGG !!!

Of course Friend 1 is a guy ! :explode: we didn't talk for two weeks as he was too proud to say sorry . We talked tonight and he said he did say sorry but i didn't hear him because I was mad at the time...that it was my bad luck that I didn't hear him say it but he did ..
HE SO IMMATURE RRRGGGGGG then again he is 22 ! I dont have the best friendship with friend 3 ..so i was humiliated to be at her house and for her to tell me that i shouldn't have been there :grumble:

I explained to him that it really hurt my feelings that he didn't acknowledge how i felt and that he was to proud to apologize. He is currently studying Psycology first year and has adopted this smooth talk ...that totaly pisses me off !!! I don't think we'll be friends for long. :mad:

Who cares if he won't apologize? There was a miscommunication. If you aren't even friends with "friend" number 3 anyway, why did you say you'd go?

Don't go anywhere without clarifying what the plan is. Miscommunications happen all the time. It's kind of everyone's fault. It happens.

Ugh nothing can ruin a trip like miscommunication! I am sorry that happened to you. I imagine all the extra time alone in the car helped you really work yourself into an angry snit. Hope the next trip is better planned. Sometimes these things look entirely different from the other friends perspectives but I have been there and you have every right to your feelings.What you feel is valid. Is it unforgivable? No. I still wouldn't leave Mr. Scatterbrain in charge of my travel plans in the future but let him off the hook for now, I doubt he meant to alienate you.
