What's the best type of scale to use? Old fashioned (with a needle and dial) or digital? Suggestions and comments...

    Right now I hate my digital scale. I can get 3 different readings in 3 areas of the house. So I weigh myself in the same spot every time.
    I am looking to invest in a dial scale. There's just something about seeing the needle go around and stopping.
    I also believe the life expectancy on a digital scale is short, that why the number change so often.
