Now that winter is here I'm finding it really hard to keep up my water intake, it's just too cold! :ohwell:

I am in Auckland too, and have a stash of herbal teas - green tea, peppermint and all sorts of berry teas.....
I must say today I am craving hot chocolate..... So far I have resisted..... Oh and I still drink water :-)

I was going to suggest herb teas as well. That counts!

Definitely herbal or decaf teas! Or just hot water with lemon. And, no one says you have to drink ice water, maybe just room temp water would work!

I'd agree - herbal tea (I like green tea with lemon or lemon and ginger tea) or room temperature water (though that depends how cold your room is I suppose!)
Or if you find it too hard to get enough glasses of water, make sure your diet has a higher proportion of liquids - like smoothies, soup etc.
