guys, i come home very late from gym.....around 11:00 pm..what should i eat....please suggest. i go to bed post one hour of coming home. thanks

    I generally have a protein shake after working out. It feeds your muscles while you are sleeping.

    This is an after gym (needs protein) but before bed (needs to be light) snack, right?
    I like hard boiled eggs (if I have 2 or 3, I usually eat all the whites and one yolk and give the other yolks to my dog) and yogurt or reduced fat cheese. I read somewhere that some dairy before bed helps you sleep. Works for me.

    I would prob have cottage cheese and couple of crackers. or a milk shake. x

    A combination of carbs and protein. At this time, simple carbs are used to replace glycogen used in the gym, so they are less likely to be stored as fat. And you need to have the protein so the body can repair the muscles.
