I'm currently at a point in my weight loss that I have been at before a couple of times and have never been able to get past it. This time I brought in some back up. I have changed my eating habits more then I did in the past. I also am taking a fat burning supplement. Plus of course, I'm also using this great site. I will get through this hurdle and kick it in the *kitten*.

Not to sound like a downer, but you're doing some form of exercise with that right? Diet and a fat burning supplement may not be enough.

I know the feeling. I agree with Daddeeo, though, this website has helped my get back the stumbling blocks I have hit in the past and wasn't able to get over. I keep waiting for the "big one" to hit that sends be back the other way, but so far so good. I am really trying to believe this is forever. I am starting too. Mostly because of the great community on this site who keep me going. Good luck to you!!:drinker:

mndamon, The reason I'm taking the fat burner is to go along with the high physicality of my job. I'm trying to utalize my work to help me loose weight. While there I'm constanly lifting 50 pound boxes of tile 40 times in only 25-30 minutes. This sort of thing happens a number of times each day along with walking over 12 miles in a 10 hour day when I'm there.

So this was mentioned in the other thread.
People would wonder, if you have a high physical job then why are you over weight.
If your always lifting, and moving...
How long have you been at this job? How did you eat before? You mentioned you would eat twice as much?

 Some people can eat 3-4,000 calories in 2 meals of ..........fast food, take out, restaurant foods

If you are eating healthier, you will noticed you can eat a lot of good food in 2000 calories.
Have you thought about the amount of protein you are eating? Sugars?

Edit: Bye the way, you probably don't need the fat burner while you have such a fast paced job. Make sure you do research, as there are various brands out there.
This would also be a reason why your heart was beating so fast and burning more calories.

Thumper, I was one of those that ate 3-4000 calories in about 2 sittings. In the past few weeks I have changed that dramatically by dropping down to around 2060 a day. Now im having 3 meals with a small snack every 2-3 hours between. and by small snack I'm talking about 90-100 calories. Part of why my heart rate was so high was from the fat burners. I will try my little experiment again but without the burners in my system and only log when I'm putting away the freight not when I'm walking all day to get a better idea of what I'm doing.

I hear you on the been there before thing. I'm sitting exactly where I was a year ago, and I have at least three more stops on y way down that I've lost to and stopped then gained it back. Good luck getting through it with your experiments.
