Half way there...

I just recently hit my half way point and I'm pretty excited! Well, what I’m considering my official half way point…when I first started I was terrified to get on the scale so I just went with my best guess, after a about a month of making better daily choices I finally got on the scale to see I was 25 lbs under where I thought I was, so my little tracker shows 75 lbs; I’ve lost 50 lbs and I have 50 more lbs to go. My ultimate goal is still 20 lbs overweight, but I have a lot of cute clothes at that weight so I want to live there for a while, see how things go with maintaining that weight and if I’m unhappy with the way I look and feel, then I can always go back to loosing, I am in charge of this whole thing after all.
To congratulate myself on hitting this milestone, I bought myself a little gift; a HRM I’ve been eyeing for months. It’s important for me to have little celebrations, it helps to keep me motivated
I have a feeling the last 50 will not be as easy to get off as the first, but it’s a marathon not a sprint after all. Wish me luck on the second half of my journey to a healthier me!
