Looking for a HRM

I know many people have put this out there, but wanted a fresh look. From what I have seen, most people recommend a Polar of one type or another. I have seen FT4, FT7, and FT60 the most. On Amazon I am seeing FT4F (first link) and the FT7F (second link)...are these the same as you were recommending?

I also see the FT60. http://www.amazon.com/Polar-Womens-Heart-Monitor-Purple/dp/B001F0PVNA/ref=sr_1_6?s=sporting-goods&ie=UTF8&qid=1305838530&sr=1-6

What would you describe as the main differences between these models? Where do they differ? What should I be looking for? Strengths? Weaknesses? HELP?!?!?

I have the Polar f-6. My husband got it for me for Mother's day a year ago. Works great and it is pretty easy to use.

I have the newer model of the polar F4. I love it. All I want from mine is the number of calories burned but with it you can transfer your info onto the computer, its really neat but I just wanted the basics! Whatever you do make sure you get one with a chest strap to make sure you are getting an accurate count!!

Try this link to the Polar website: http://www.polar.fi/en/products

There is a button there that enables you to compare products by function. I've had a few different HRMs. I started out with a mid range one that showed heart rate and calories burned.

I then bought one for my husband, but he's a swimmer and can't use it, so instead of sending it back I kept it. I think this one is a little more than I need as it recommends a training program and does lots of other stuff that I basically don't need. It looks good though ;o)
