I am going bannanas

I have lots of mild allergies to various raw veggies and fruits so, I usually have about 1-2 bananas per day. Is this too much I have read a few places that banana's are full of carbs and introduce belly fat. I am desperately trying to get rid of my belly fat, but bananas seem to give me energy for my workouts and for my mornings. Anybody have suggestions if this isn't a good idea?
veggies (raw) - carrots, celery
Fruits (fresh) - pears, peaches, honeydew, cantaloupe...

I have been told Bananas are high in potassium so might be going over in that. I used to have a banana a day but found out I was allergic to them recently. I would maybe do some research, consult with a nutritionist as I don't know whether it is a bad thing or not I think 2 a day might be too much but that is my personal opinion. I find protein helps me more in terms of energy for the gym and to get my day started.0

Banana's are very high in sugar. I used to eat one a day and I've cut that from my diet, too.0

By both my doctor & my bf (who is a trainer) I've more or less been told to get rid of banana's from my diet. The ONLY time I eat them is if its 1/2 of one in a protein shake.
They have too many carbs/cals for a fruit. I just take potassium pills or get them from other things like cantaloupe & veggies!0 -
I eat bananas like they're going outta style. I can't get enough. I think that's my body telling me I need them. I saw eat up just stay within your guidelines0

Oh and I eat 50g of rolled oats with water for breakfast, right before my workout. I used to have rolled oats with milk and a banana, but getting rid of the milk and banana significantly reduced my sugar intake. Also keeps me really full and energized for my workout.0
