Protein drinks - Australia

I've been thinking about protein drinks lately as I'm just about to start the 'Insanity' programme, I don't think I'll get through it without them!!! But, I was very nervous to just pick one off the shelf. So many people have said how some of them taste disgusting! I didn't want to pay out all that money just to find out that I didn't like it - let's face it, they are not cheap - but how would I know what they tasted like if I didn't buy and try??? So, I bit the bullet last night in Coles and bought BSC WPI Whey Protein Isolate, chocolate flavour. Cost was about $24 for a 400g tub. Thought it would be best to try it today just to see if it tasted ok. If not, my husband would kill me - more money down the drain!!! lol So I closed my eyes and hoped that it was easily digestable............................... and it tasted absolutely lovely!!! God, I was so relieved!!!

So if any of you in Australia are looking for one that is great tasting - this is the one to get!!! Hardly any fat/carbs/sodium in it and nearly 26g of protein! By the way, I mixed mine with my low fat milk and not water. I didn't like the idea of water with it! Tastes just like a chocolate milkshake with milk though!!!

I personally get mine from www.bulknutrients.com as it's $130-$150 for 5kg and I go through a fair bit.

Thanks! Haha i was just in coles today looking at the protein powders, i've wanted one for ages, but don't want to shell out the money for something gross or fill of sugars etc. I'll look out for that one nxt time though.
