I got my HRM in the post today and was setting it up but I don't understand what the Hi limits and Lo limits are?

Also how do I turn it off?

I just got mine today too
I think the hi and low are your heart rate ranges you want to work in (i think)

Also i don't think you switch it off, after 5 mins of inactivity its meant to revert to a normal watch
  • I have the N4 (New Balance) You set your "high" and "low" and then the "alarm" will beep when you go below the "LO" or above the "HI" that you have set. And I can't turn mine off - it's a watch too, so it stays on all the time. The HRM part of it cuts off on its own once I take the chest strap off (and it isn't registering a heartbeat for awhile). I love mine...

I don't really know what this means either? I have no clue what to set them too. Also I'm pretty sure it's not picking up my heart rate. EURGH so confused!

So you max heart range is 220-yor age

Iset my high and low between 60% and 70% which is the fat burning range.

So work out what your max is and then set your Low at about 60% and your high at 70% so you are within the fat burning range.
    I hope this helps.
