As a PT myself, I am always looking for advice and good suggestions from those in the same field to better help my clients. My question today is: What muscle groups do you work or group together to get your optimum workout when it comes to strength training/ weight lifting? Let's say for sculpting and building for competition purposes.

You can never go wrong working the legs. The legs contain the largest muscle group in the body. More muscle = more calorie burning in other workouts = a more lean body.

A strong back is essential to building a body worth competing with. Good compound movement circuits such as deadlifts, pullups, rows. I would perform a set of 6-8 reps of each exercise back-to-back (no pun intended) for a great results.0

I'm no expert, but i think a strong core is essential and sometimes entirely overlooked
(planks, push-ups, decline crunches, hanging-bar leg lifts, etc)0
