OT: I am in trouble! lol

My son is BASICALLY Linus from Peanuts. He sucks his thumb and carries his blanket around.

Well, I washed his blanket and our dryer is broken (getting it fixed next week I think), so I have the blanket outside drying (Hopefully the hot day will dry it pretty fast!!)

But, my son is walking around with a pitiful look on his face saying "DehDeh weee awww yeewww???" (DehDeh = Blanket). I tried giving him another one that is similar but he pushed it away and said "No" in the saddest voice.

I hope that thing dries fast!!! :laugh: :laugh:

When my daughter was little she was the same way... She would go to the washer and stand there and wait for its bath to be over then she didn't care if it was wet or not she wouldn't let me dry it.
But there were times that I got away with it and it did get dry... :laugh: Ya gotta love our little Linuses.
Enjoy it now they grow up way to fast... Melissa

My daughter is 6 and is still attached to her blankie. She will accept substitutes, but only in extreme cases. It's my fault anyway, I always made sure I had it with me when she was little and now I can't get it away from her! :laugh: She's just too cute anyway....

It's breaking my heart! He is SO sad! I am going to let it sit out there a little while longer since it's pretty hot today....and I may just have to give it to him damp!! He is acting like he lost his best friend!

He is the cutest thing! Man, I do love my Linus!! hehe He's a snuggle bug too! His 2nd year molars are coming in and he had a fever earlier this week and was just not himself. So, he would wake up Mon and Tues night around 11 or so and I brought him into bed with me and he just cuddled with me and fell back asleep! I am SO enjoying it while it lasts! I know it will end one day!
